Potsdam (made famous by the Potsdam Conference in 1945)




Building where the Potsdam Conference was held. Participants in conference were the USA, Soviet Union, and Britain. They worked to divide up Germany and Austria into the occupation zones here among other things.



This is Sanssouci Castle, home of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia.
